A hand painted barn quilt carries with it the energy of the person who created it.

Unlike  making a fabric quilt, this is your chance to create a unique and  special piece of history to display proudly on your home, barn, shed,  porch or even hang in your home.  And the best part is that most of the  Barn Quilt art is created in one day.  They are painted on aluminum  composite material, which will not rot or rust, ensuring you can enjoy  your piece of art for years to come.  Instant gratification ~ and much  like Lay's Potato Chips, "You can't make just one"! 

• Aluminum Composite (ACM) Board, cut to size, sanded, primed, and drawn with your choice of pattern;  ACM is light-weight and easy to hang anywhere.
• All painting supplies including over 50 colors to choose from and brushes for painting and detailing your design.
• Cutting tools to utilize when design calls for trimming
• Instructor expertise, guidance and tips for creating your quality masterpiece

1. Painters Tape - I recommend either green or yellow Frog Tape that is .94" in width, but wider widths work too.  (Yellow Frog Tape is the BOMB!)

2.  Hair Dryer - This is what we need to  get the paint to dry in order to complete the class in 7 hours. I do have a few spare, so if you don't own a hairdryer please don't purchase one specifically for this event.

3. Either wear clothes you don't care about, or  an apron.  Accidents happen and we don't want for you to ruin your  favorite top and/or pants.

4. Lunch, snacks to share (if you so desire) and non-alcoholic beverages. There is  not a formal break for this, folks simply eat when they are hungry and  continue working or take a break as needed.   

5. Helpful but not required, a headlamp!  It helps to create those crisp lines!

6.  A big smile and creative attitude.

• Class sessions begin at 8 am and wrap up by 4-4:30 pm.  It does take the entire time, but you can leave if you finish early. 
• Course fee depends on board size (see below for listing).
• Complete payment is due prior to the start of class via cash or Venmo.    
• Confirmation of Attendance - in order to have the required materials, participants must sign up through the links provided in the class registration.  Once registered, a non-refundable deposit of $30 is required to secure your spot in class.
